Abstract

Introdução: Durante a pandemia de COVID-19, pediatras e profissionais de saúde mental infantil, em todo o mundo, relataram um aumento nos encaminhamentos de tiques não convencionais para clínicas de distúrbios do movimento. Nesse contexto, há registros de hospitais, em diferentes países, que contêm relatos de pacientes com distúrbios funcionais do tipo tique afirmando consumir vídeos na plataformas TikTok, que mostravam pessoas supostamente com Síndrome de Tourette (ST), antes de apresentarem o quadro inicial de tiques. Isso sugere uma possível associação entre o TikTok e o aumento de tiques. Objetivo: Analisar a relação e os fatores que podem ter colaborado para a influência da plataforma Tiktok no crescimento dos encaminhamentos de pacientes com comportamentos semelhantes a tiques. Método: Utilizou-se a revisão bibliográfica integrativa com buscas nas bases de dados: PubMed, Scielo, Lilacs e Medline. Resultado: Foram encontrados ao total 134 trabalhos, dos quais 104 pertencente à base PubMed, 8 ao Scielo, 9 ao Lilacs e 13 ao Medline. Após a aplicação dos critérios de inclusão e exclusão foram removidos 89 artigos,  totalizando  um  total  de  45  trabalhos, dos quais 30 pertenciam à base de dados PubMed, 03 artigos à Scielo, 07 artigos à Lilacs e 05 artigos à Medline. Conclusão: O número de estudos científicos ainda é escasso e inconsistente acerca do impacto da exposição do Tiktok na fenomenologia descrita. Em consonância com os dados elencados, deve ser priorizado a veiculação de conteúdos criados por profissionais de saúde mental e estabelecer um processo de verificação mais ordenado.
