Abstract
To describe a clinical case report of aesthetic rehabilitation in the replacement of composite resin veneers for ceramic laminates, from its planning performed through the digital workflow to the completion of the clinical steps, emphasizing the benefits of the conservative protocol. A 30-year-old female patient attended a specialization course in dental prosthetics at a dental institute in northern Brazil, with the main complaint of dissatisfaction with the aesthetic appearance of her smile. She had composite resin veneers in the upper arch with a porous, darkened appearance and with gaps in the cervical regions. Based on the requested exams, photos and intraoral scanning, an aesthetic rehabilitation with ceramics was planned through the digital workflow. With the evolution of minimally invasive protocols, ceramic laminates have gained prominence among rehabilitation procedures due to their excellent functional and aesthetic characteristics that better reproduce the optical characteristics of the tooth, together with better long-term clinical results. Rehabilitation planning according to the patient's needs associated with scientific principles are the axes for satisfactory aesthetic rehabilitation.
