Abstract

This study focuses on intervention strategies to mitigate cardiovascular risk in young people affected by obesity, a growing public health concern. By considering the complex interaction between behavioral, nutritional and social factors, the research proposes a multidisciplinary approach to promote sustainable changes in lifestyles. One of the main strategies is the implementation of nutritional education programs, aiming not only to raise awareness about healthy food choices , but also the development of practical skills for preparing balanced meals. Nutritional education is complemented by initiatives that encourage regular physical activity, adapted to the individual preferences and needs of young people. Furthermore, research explores the effectiveness of psychosocial interventions, recognizing the influence of emotional dimensions on adherence to healthy habits. Strategies that promote self-esteem, social support, and stress management are incorporated to strengthen youth resilience in the face of obesity-related challenges. Longitudinal assessments and clinical indicators are used to monitor progress and adapt interventions as needed. By approaching these strategies in an integrated manner, this study seeks to provide crucial insights for the formulation of public health policies and clinical practices aimed at effectively reducing cardiovascular risk in young people with obesity, contributing to a holistic and personalized approach to promoting cardiovascular health from the teenage years.
