Da Tomografia ao Enxerto Personalizado: Fluxo Digital, CAD/CAM e Impressão 3D na Reconstrução Óssea dos Maxilares

A reconstrução óssea dos maxilares representa um dos maiores desafios da cirurgia bucomaxilofacial, especialmente em defeitos ósseos extensos que comprometem a reabilitação funcional e estética. Nesse contexto, a incorporação da tomografia computadorizada, do planejamento virtual, da tecnologia CAD/CAM e da impressão 3D tem transformado o planejamento e a execução dos procedimentos reconstrutivos, permitindo abordagens cada vez mais individualizadas. O presente estudo teve como objetivo analisar, por meio de uma revisão da literatura, a contribuição do fluxo digital CAD/CAM e da impressão 3D na reconstrução óssea dos maxilares, destacando suas aplicações clínicas, benefícios e limitações. Para isso, foi realizada uma revisão narrativa da literatura, utilizando artigos científicos publicados entre 2021 e 2025, selecionados nas bases PubMed/MEDLINE, Scopus, Web of Science, SciELO e Google Scholar. Os estudos demonstraram que a integração entre tomografia computadorizada, planejamento digital e manufatura aditiva possibilita a confecção de malhas de titânio, guias cirúrgicos, enxertos e implantes personalizados com elevada precisão, proporcionando melhor adaptação anatômica, maior estabilidade dos biomateriais, redução do tempo cirúrgico e maior previsibilidade dos resultados. Além disso, observou-se melhora na regeneração óssea, no posicionamento dos implantes e na reabilitação funcional dos pacientes. Conclui-se que o fluxo digital associado às tecnologias CAD/CAM e à impressão 3D representa um importante avanço na reconstrução óssea dos maxilares, favorecendo procedimentos mais seguros, precisos e individualizados. Entretanto, sua ampla aplicação clínica ainda depende da redução dos custos, da disponibilidade tecnológica e da capacitação dos profissionais.
