Introduction: The rapid advancement of digital technologies has transformed social interactions, communication, and access to information, making digital inclusion a key factor in promoting autonomy, mental health, and quality of life among older adults. However, cultural and educational barriers still limit the digital participation of this population, emphasizing the need for equitable and inclusive strategies to support active aging. Objective: To analyze scientific evidence on the impacts of digital inclusion on autonomy, mental health, and quality of life in older adults, identifying benefits, challenges, and perspectives for social and educational interventions. Methodology: This is an integrative literature review with a qualitative and exploratory approach, conducted according to the PRISMA checklist. The search was carried out in the SciELO, LILACS, BIREME, PubMed, and CAPES databases between January and February 2026. Controlled descriptors “elderly,” “digital inclusion,” “technology,” “mental health,” and “quality of life” were used. Articles published between 2010 and 2024 in Portuguese, English, or Spanish were included, totaling five studies selected for critical analysis. Conclusion: Digital inclusion proved essential for active aging, enhancing autonomy, social interaction, and psychological well-being. The use of digital technologies stimulates cognitive functions and reduces social isolation. Nonetheless, barriers such as digital ageism, lack of training, and insufficient public policies persist. Intergenerational educational initiatives and continuous governmental programs are fundamental to ensure digital equity, inclusion, and dignity in old age.
