Age-related macular degeneration (AMD) is one of the leading causes of visual impairment in individuals over 60 years old, particularly in its exudative form, characterized by choroidal neovascularization. Early diagnosis and appropriate treatment are essential for preserving visual function. This article aims to report a case of exudative AMD in a 64-year-old patient who presented with central scotoma in the left eye and achieved clinical stabilization after intravitreal anti-VEGF therapy. This case highlights the importance of early symptom recognition, proper diagnostic investigation, and specialized follow-up for improved visual prognosis.
