Introduction: In patients with turbinate hypertrophy and nasal tip deformity causing nasal obstruction, the symptom may persist if the mucosal, structural, and valvular components are not addressed in a coordinated manner. Objective: To review the evidence on surgical approaches for turbinate hypertrophy associated with nasal tip/valve deformities, guiding joint decision-making between otolaryngology and plastic surgery. Methodology: Literature review in PubMed with a time filter from 2020–2025, following PRISMA 2020 guidelines. Results: Eleven studies were included; turbinate surgery consistently showed improvement in subjective measures (VAS/NOSE), with indications of better durability for techniques involving tissue removal and/or outfracture in comparative analyses. In functional rhinoplasty, maneuvers for valve and tip support improved functional outcomes and perception, without universal superiority among techniques. Discussion: The evidence supports an approach of “complete nasal airway”: treating turbinates in a mucosa-preserving way and reinforcing the valve/tip when there is collapse or weakness; PROMs (NOSE/SCHNOS) are key for follow-up. Conclusion: A combined approach, individualized by anatomical-functional phenotype, maximizes the likelihood of improvement and reduces residual symptoms.
