Tracheobronchial amyloidosis with appearance of symptoms after COVID19 infection: a case report

Amyloidosis refers to a spectrum of diseases characterized by abnormal extracellular accumulation of misfolded protein. With unclear etiology, it’s presentation varies according to the involved organ. We report a case of tracheobronchial amyloidosis in a former smoker patient with exacerbation after Sars-Cov 2 infection. Here we review the pertinent references on this subject, and discuss the main managements for respiratory amyloidosis.
