Introduction: Endodontic treatment is an essential procedure for the preservation of teeth with pulpal and periapical involvement, aiming to eliminate microorganisms, disinfect the root canal system, and provide a three-dimensional seal. Accurate diagnosis and the use of appropriate techniques and materials are crucial for clinical success. Objective: To report a clinical case of endodontic treatment performed on tooth 13, highlighting the procedures adopted and the outcomes obtained. Methodology: A 29-year-old female patient was referred for endodontic treatment of tooth 13. Clinical examination showed a negative response to the cold pulp sensitivity test and to vertical percussion. The periapical radiograph revealed a radiolucent periapical area compatible with chronic apical periodontitis. After local anesthesia and coronal access, chemical-mechanical preparation was performed using the Univy New #40.04 system, maintaining foraminal patency with a Glidepath 15/42 file up to the apical foramen. The canal system was obturated using the single-cone technique associated with Bio-C Sealer cement. Conclusion: The use of the Univy New system provided efficient canal shaping, facilitating obturation and ensuring an adequate seal of the root canal system. The endodontic treatment proved effective for infection control and preservation of the tooth in function, reinforcing the importance of modern techniques and biocompatible materials in endodontic practice.
