Abstract

Oral rehabilitation using delayed implants has evolved significantly, with an immediate loading technique being one of the main innovations in implantology. This approach allows prosthetic installation immediately after implant fixation, reducing treatment time and providing aesthetic and functional benefits. The objective of this study was to analyze the effectiveness of immediate loading in lost implants, considering factors such as primary stability, success rates and clinical impact. The research is justified by the need for greater predictability in treatment, ensuring safe and efficient rehabilitation for patients. This is a narrative literature review based on the analysis of 20 scientific articles published between 2015 and 2024, obtained through the PubMed, SciELO, Google Scholar and ScienceDirect databases. During the selection process, 30 articles were initially screened; However, 10 were discarded because they focused exclusively on digital techniques, lacked direct clinical application, or were in vitro studies that did not meet the defined methodological criteria. The results indicated that immediate loading has high success rates when there is adequate primary stability, ideal insertion torque, and micromovement control. It is concluded that the technique is a viable alternative to conventional loading, as long as it is applied under strict patient selection and clinical execution criteria.
