Childhood obesity has emerged as a global epidemic, requiring comprehensive studies to understand its multifaceted nature. Through an exploratory integrative literature review methodology, this research establishes critical frameworks for both comprehending and addressing this condition, with particular focus on how parental eating behaviors influence children's dietary habits. Recent Brazilian epidemiological data reveals a troubling prevalence rate of 33.9% among children aged 5-9 years in 2021. The findings conclusively demonstrate that family behaviors significantly impact children's lifestyle patterns, particularly regarding.
