Torsion of Cryptorchid Testicle: Case Report

Testicular torsion is one of the main urological emergencies in men. The cryptorchid testicle is one that has not descended into the scrotal region, remaining located in the abdominal cavity or in the inguinal region. This report will address the case of a 23-year-old young man with cryptorchidism in the left testicle in which there was a process of testicular torsion that required a surgical approach. We will address the prevalence, characteristics, imaging tests to aid diagnosis, possible complications and differential diagnosis.
