Abstract
Introduction: Cerebral aneurysms during pregnancy are rare but represent a highly complex condition due to physiological and hemodynamic changes that may increase the risk of rupture. Objective: To analyze clinical and surgical approaches for managing cerebral aneurysms in pregnant women, prioritizing maternal and fetal health. Methodology: This is a literature review on treatments and risk factors in pregnant women with aneurysms, focusing on recent studies. Results and Discussion: Endovascular embolization stands out as the preferred technique due to its minimally invasive nature and reduced radiation exposure. Management requires multidisciplinary collaboration to balance risks and ensure safety for both mother and baby, considering factors such as hypertension and vascular changes. Conclusion: The treatment of aneurysms during pregnancy requires specialized attention, approaches that minimize risks, and care strategies to protect both the mother and the fetus.
