PREPARATION OF UPPER PREMOLAR BEARING LIVE PULP WITH SOLLA PURPLE ROTARY FILES

This clinical case report refers to endodontic treatment of an upper premolar with a Solla Purple file in a single session. A male patient, with no history of systemic diseases, sought a private office, complaining of pain in tooth 25. Clinically, it was observed that there was cavities and a resin restoration. After anesthesia, the tooth was isolated and coronary access was performed. Irrigation was performed with saline solution and 2% Chlorhexidine gel as an auxiliary chemical substance. After exploring the root canal, electronic odontometry was performed with an apical locator, Irrot Apex. The preparation of the root canals was carried out with a Solla Purple #35.04 file until the established working length was reached. The foraminal patency, exceeding the exit of the apical foramen by 1 mm, was performed using the Solla Fille Purple Glidepath #15/04 file. The filling was performed using the single cone technique associated with Bio-C Sealer cement. It is concluded that the Solla Purple files provide a well-defined shape, which facilitates the filling of the root canal system.
