Abstract

A bibliographic review was carried out by collecting data on the PubMed, LILACS and SciELO platforms. They found 1029 articles in the searched databases, of which 10 were chosen for data extraction after applying the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Breast reconstruction after mastectomy presented important benefits for patients' quality of life, including psychosocial well-being, sexual well-being and satisfaction with the reconstructed breasts.
