Abstract
This study described the preparation of the root canal of the left lower premolar with a Lima Solla Collors rotary file in a single session. A 19-year-old male patient with no history of systemic diseases sought a private office for root canal treatment. Clinically, there was fracture of the restoration and spontaneous pain in tooth 35, a positive response to the cold pulp sensitivity test carried out with refrigerant gas. After anesthesia, coronary opening and root canal exploration were performed. The preparation of the canal was carried out with a Solla Collors rotary file 70/03 and the foraminal patency was made with the Solla Collors Glidepath File 16/02, one millimeter beyond the apical foramen. The filling of the canal system was performed using the HB single cone technique, associated with Bio C Sealer cement. It is concluded that the success of endodontic therapy was achieved with adequate modeling with a rotary system.
