Abstract
Este estudo revisa a literatura médica atual sobre a relação entre a localização da lesão cerebral em sobreviventes de AVC e seu desempenho em testes de Teoria da Mente (ToM). A Teoria da Mente refere-se à capacidade de compreender e interpretar os estados mentais de outras pessoas, como crenças, intenções e emoções. Foram utilizados os indexadores Google Scholar, Scopus e Web of Science para a seleção de artigos relevantes, usando os termos “Localização da lesão, Teoria da Mente, Desempenho, AVC, Sobreviventes de AVC”. A análise dos estudos indica que a localização específica da lesão pode influenciar significativamente a habilidade dos sobreviventes de AVC em realizar tarefas relacionadas à ToM, com lesões em áreas frontais e temporais apresentando maior impacto.
