Abstract
Introduction: Physiological events such as bone resorption can occur after dental extraction. The immediate implantation came to preserve the alveolus walls despite may be associated with marginal recession. Personalized healers in immediate implants are a new alternative to gingival conformation allowing skip stage of temporary crown on implant, reducing treatment costs and optimizing tissue modeling. Purpose: Demonstrate the characteristics of using personalized healing abutments in immediate implants with a literature search. Methodology: A literature review with eleven articles selected in the PubMed, Lilacs and Google Scholar. Expected results: Collaborate with scientific discussion regarding the use of personalized healing devices in implant dentistry. Final Considerations: The use of personalized healing abutments provides possible optimization in the patient's postoperative period, with less bone loss and greater predictability of final tissue healing.
