This article reviews the current literature on the effectiveness of biomarkers in the early detection of rejection in renal transplants. Article selection was conducted using the PubMed database and the terms “Renal Transplantation,” “Biomarkers,” “Graft Rejection,” and “Early Detection.” The review covers recent studies investigating emerging biomarkers, such as urinary chemokines, and advanced technologies, including liquid biopsies and implantable bioelectronic devices. The conclusion indicates that adopting these biomarkers and innovative technologies can significantly enhance early rejection detection and treatment personalization, leading to improved graft survival and better quality of life for transplant patients.
