Diagnosis and treatment of erysipelas: a literature review

This article aims to evaluate the clinical aspects of erysipelas performed in the last five years. Integrative review in the BVS, LILACS, SciELO, PubMed database of works published between 2020 and 2024, combining the descriptors "erysipelas", "diagnosis" and "treatment". Erysipelas is a type of superficial cellulitis that affects the dermal lymphatics. It is concluded that the diagnosis is clinical. Treatment is with oral or parenteral antibiotics.
