Abstract

This article aims to review and analyze current guidelines for the treatment of acute kidney injury, using the PubMed database with the terms "Acute Kidney Injury", "Clinical Guidelines" and "Treatment". In summary, the review of current guidelines for The treatment of acute kidney injury (AKI) reveals significant advances in the detection and management of the condition. The incorporation of new technologies such as biomarkers and advanced imaging techniques has allowed for earlier and more accurate identification of AKI, enabling faster and more effective interventions. The use of biomarkers such as cystatin C and NGAL has shown promising potential in improving early detection and reducing disease progression. Additionally, the personalized approach in the management of AKI, with an emphasis on optimizing renal perfusion and correcting hemodynamic imbalances. , has been shown to be essential for the effectiveness of treatment and the prevention of complications. The introduction of renal support therapies, such as dialysis, continues to be crucial for severe cases of AKI, with current guidelines recommending continuous or intermittent modalities depending on the situation. severity and clinical condition of the patient. Furthermore, the exploration of new pharmacological agents and emerging therapies, such as stem cell therapy, offers promising prospects for renal treatment and recovery. Despite advances, continued research is needed to confirm long-term effectiveness and to improve treatment practices. The combination of these approaches can significantly contribute to improving clinical outcomes and advancing the management of acute kidney injury.
