Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) is an endocrine disorder affecting many women of reproductive age, characterized by hormonal imbalances and symptoms such as menstrual irregularities and insulin resistance. This study reviews the literature on the most effective interventions in managing PCOS, highlighting the importance of a multidisciplinary approach. The methodology involved a systematic review of articles in Google Scholar and PubMed, using specific descriptors to identify treatments combining physical exercise, diet, medication, and pharmacological interventions. The results show that these combined interventions improve insulin sensitivity, regulate hormone levels, and increase ovulation rates. It is concluded that a multidisciplinary treatment approach is essential to optimize outcomes and improve the quality of life for PCOS patients.
