Abstract
ABSTRACT
OBJECTIVE: To characterize a profile related to the use of medication in depressive disorders in medical students and how to interfere in academic life. METHOD: This is a descriptive quantitative study whose data were obtained through field research using the Google Form, authorized and carried out within the Centro Universitário Fundação Assis Gurgacz. The academics included in the research are those who presente or have been diagnosed with Depression at some point in their lives, and what is the interference in their daily lives. RESULT: The academics said that depression presentes triggers that prevent better results in academic life, such as discouragement or sudden tiredness. Furthmore, the majority of those surveyed live alone and have differential diagnoses associated with depression.
