Abstract

Organ transplant surgeries represent one of the most complex and challenging procedures in modern medicine. The success of these procedures depends not only on surgical skill, but also on adequate anesthetic management, which is crucial to ensure hemodynamic stability and minimize perioperative complications. In recent years, new anesthetic techniques have been developed and implemented, aiming to improve clinical results and accelerate patient recovery. Objective: To analyze and compare the different anesthetic approaches used in organ transplant surgeries, focusing on technical innovations and associated clinical results. Methodology: The Medline, Scielo and Pubmed databases were used, searching for articles published between 2019 and 2023, in Portuguese or English. Final Considerations: Anesthetic approaches in organ transplant surgeries have advanced with new techniques that improve hemodynamic stability, reduce perioperative complications and optimize postoperative recovery. These innovations not only increase patient survival but also hasten their return to daily activities, highlighting the continued importance of research to validate and improve these techniques.
