Abstract

Catching an earlier version of SARS-CoV-2 – particularly Omicron – provides some immunity against the two rapidly spreading strains. The Omicron BA.4 and BA.5 subvariants of SARS-CoV-2 proved to be more stealthy in evading people's immune defenses than all of their predecessors.
