O Upgrade do Cérebro: Neuroplasticidade e Neurotecnologia

Unraveling the mysteries of the brain is to explore the frontiers of knowledge, where plasticity meets technology to redefine the limits of the human mind. Thus, this article investigates the intersection between cerebral neuroplasticity and neurotechnology, exploring the enhancement potential offered by this synergy. Neuroplasticity, the brain's ability to reorganize its structure and function in response to environmental stimuli and experiences, is examined alongside advances in neurotechnology, including neurofeedback, transcranial magnetic stimulation, and brain-computer interfaces. The main objective of this study is to critically analyze the scientific literature to understand how neuroplasticity and neurotechnology can be combined to promote innovative therapeutic interventions in the brain. Specifically, we aim to identify the opportunities and challenges associated with this convergence and provide relevant insights for researchers and healthcare professionals interested in this field. To achieve the proposed objectives, a critical and synthetic literature review was conducted using academic platforms and search engines such as Google Scholar, Scopus, and Web of Science. Specific terms related to neuroplasticity, neurotechnology, and their various techniques were employed, delimiting the search parameters to ensure the careful selection of studies. Additionally, specific research was carried out to elucidate complex issues, following an approach grounded in scientific and epistemological principles. The combination of neuroplasticity and neurotechnology offers vast potential for developing innovative therapies and interventions in the brain, providing significant benefits for the health and well-being of individuals. However, it is important to consider the ethical, technical, and scientific challenges associated with this approach, emphasizing the continuous need for research and development to fully harness this promising convergence of science and technology applied to the brain.
