Abstract

Diverticulum is a disease that is usually located in the duodenum, with rare cases in jejunum and ileum, and its associated symptoms are also rare, which makes diagnosis and treatment difficult. This report will address a case of a 63-year-old woman with acute abdomen by perforation of jejunal diverticulum, as well as prevalence, characteristics, diagnostic imaging, possible complications and differential diagnosis of jejunal diverticulum.
