PSYCHOTIC MANIFESTATIONS AND OTHER PSYCHIATRIC CONDITIONS CAUSED BY SYSTEMIC LUPUS ERYTHEMATOSUS (SLE): AN INTEGRATIVE REVIEW

This article aims to explore the current medical literature on psychotic manifestations and neuropsychiatric symptoms related to Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE). The following databases were used: PubMed, Scielo, Uptodate, ScienceDirect and Google Scholar. After selection, the articles were subjected to inclusion and exclusion criteria to produce a systematic review. It is concluded that neuropsychiatric manifestations in SLE bring significant dysfunction to the quality of life, functionality and general health of patients.
