Abstract
This study starts from a premise where several challenges are identified in order to arrive at the diagnosis of acute abdomen. For this, it starts with a bibliographical research where authors can discuss the subject were sought so that a theoretical basis could be had for this discussion. In addition, it aims to bring this debate to the medical profession, understanding that the sooner this diagnosis is reached, the faster it will be able to save lives.
