CONGENITAL MALFORMATIONS IN PEDIATRIC GYNECOLOGY: DIAGNOSTIC CHALLENGES AND MANAGEMENT STRATEGIES

Abstract

In the setting of congenital malformations in Pediatric Gynecology, exploring the challenges intrinsic to diagnosing these conditions and examining associated management strategies. By focusing on the specific nuances found in this field, we seek to offer significant insights that enrich clinical understanding and expand the possibilities of therapeutic approaches. This study aims to investigate the complexity of diagnosing congenital malformations in gynecology, highlighting the challenges faced by healthcare professionals. Data collection was conducted through the following databases: Nursing Database (BDENF), Scientific Electronic Library Online (SCIELO), PubMed, Latin American Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences (LILACS). Various types of publications were consulted, including scientific articles, monographs and magazines, with the aim of obtaining relevant information on the topic. The results of this study on congenital malformations in Pediatric Gynecology highlight significant diagnostic challenges. The analysis revealed the complexity of these conditions, highlighting the importance of multifactorial approaches in clinical management. The discussion emphasizes the need for refined protocols and advanced technologies for early diagnosis. These insights provide a basis for optimizing treatment strategies and improving the quality of life of pediatric patients affected by congenital malformations.
