Abstract
This article presents a comprehensive review of complications in neurosurgery, focusing on a detailed analysis and prevention strategies. In the introduction, context was provided on the importance of the topic and the objectives of the review. The methodology described the search strategy used to identify relevant studies, including databases, search terms, and inclusion/exclusion criteria. The results were synthesized into three main topics, addressing complications in craniotomies, spinal surgery, and endovascular procedures, discussing the effectiveness of different approaches and strategies. The discussion highlighted the implications of the results, limitations, and recommendations for future research. Finally, the conclusion summarized the main findings, emphasizing the importance of careful patient selection, multidisciplinary collaboration, and innovation in neurosurgery.
