ASSISTÊNCIA DE ENFERMAGEM À GESTANTE NO SISTEMA CARCERÁRIO: UMA REVISÃO INTEGRATIVA

Introduction: The pregnancy process is characterized by a period of diverse physical, psychological and social changes for the pregnant woman, which requires a lot of adaptations, such as social and cultural factors that will determine her response individually, and in the experience of pregnancy. Objective: the following study aims to analyze nursing care along with the rights that women in private prison have during prenatal care, seeking their well-being and that of their child. Methods: This is an integrative literature review with a qualitative approach. To prepare this study, the literature search was conducted between January and February 2023. To organize the data, a script was prepared containing the following items: Author, title, year, study location, objectives, total sample, method, main results, and whether the study made mention of nursing care to pregnant women in the prison system and what this care was. Results: the present study used the following databases, obtaining the consecutive numbers to be used in the search of: LILACS: 1 article; SciELO: 4 articles; PubMed: 95 articles. Thus, 7 articles were included in the result of this study. Final considerations: the answer to the guiding question of this research signals few contributions in the practice of prenatal care for women in prison; finally, the role of the nurse becomes of total importance for the development of a humanized work, without judgments, criticisms, or any form of prejudice.
