PLANEJAMENTO REPRODUTIVO EM MULHERES EM USO DE AGONISTAS DO GLP-1: UMA REVISÃO INTEGRATIVA

Resumo

O uso de agonistas do receptor do peptídeo semelhante ao glucagon tipo 1 (GLP-1) tem aumentado entre mulheres em idade reprodutiva, principalmente no tratamento da obesidade, diabetes mellitus tipo 2 e alterações metabólicas associadas à resistência à insulina. Diante desse cenário, tornam-se relevantes as possíveis repercussões dessas terapias sobre fertilidade, contracepção e planejamento gestacional. Este estudo teve como objetivo analisar as evidências científicas disponíveis sobre o planejamento reprodutivo em mulheres em uso de agonistas do GLP-1. Trata-se de uma revisão integrativa da literatura, realizada a partir de estudos publicados entre 2018 e 2026, selecionados em bases científicas nacionais e internacionais. Os resultados demonstraram que esses medicamentos apresentam benefícios importantes sobre o controle glicêmico, redução do peso corporal e melhora da resistência à insulina. Em mulheres com síndrome dos ovários policísticos, tais efeitos podem contribuir para maior regularidade menstrual e recuperação da ovulação, aumentando a possibilidade de gestação. Entretanto, as evidências sobre segurança durante a gravidez ainda são limitadas, o que reforça a necessidade de contracepção eficaz e suspensão do tratamento antes de uma concepção planejada. Conclui-se que o planejamento reprodutivo deve integrar o acompanhamento das mulheres em idade fértil que utilizam agonistas do GLP-1, com orientação individualizada sobre fertilidade, contracepção e período pré-concepcional.
