Resumo
O transplante dentário é uma técnica cirúrgica, que utiliza o próprio dente do paciente para repor um elemento dentário perdido, os terceiros molares são frequentemente utilizados como dentes doadores para sua realização. Para o sucesso da técnica é necessário conhecer previamente as condições do elemento dentário a ser utilizado e realizar o procedimento cirúrgico da forma mais minimamente traumática possível, para se obter melhores resultados e minimizar as probabilidades de insucesso. Este projeto tem como principal questão a ser respondida: o autotransplante dentário é uma possibilidade de tratamento para elementos dentários com prognósticos duvidosos, como uma alternativa de tratamento aos implantes dentários? Demonstrando através de um relato de caso clínico a realização de um transplante dentário com acompanhamento de 6 meses deste procedimento cirúrgico.
