Resumo
Este artigo tem por objetivo avaliar os aspectos clínicos da asma realizada nos últimos cinco anos. Revisão integrativa no banco de dados da BVS, LILACS, SciELO, PubMed de trabalhos publicados entre 2020 e 2024, combinando os descritores "asma", "diagnóstico" e "tratamento". A asma brônquica é uma doença caracterizada por inflamação difusa das vias respiratórias, desencadeada por diversos estímulos deflagradores, que resulta em broncoconstrição parcial ou completamente reversível. Conclui-se que o diagnóstico com base na história, no exame físico e nos testes de função pulmonar. O tratamento envolve controle dos fatores deflagradores e terapia medicamentosa, mais comumente com a inalação de agonistas beta-2 e corticoides.
