COMPARAÇÃO DA OSSEOINTEGRAÇÃO ENTRE IMPLANTES DENTÁRIOS CONVENCIONAIS ARMAZENADOS A SECO E IMPLANTES DENTÁRIOS ARMAZENADOS EM SOLUÇÃO FISIOLÓGICA

A osseointegração constitui um dos principais fatores para o sucesso dos implantes dentários, sendo influenciada pelas características físico-químicas da superfície do implante e sua interação com os tecidos biológicos. Nesse contexto, superfícies hidrofílicas e o armazenamento em solução salina têm sido investigados por seu potencial de preservar propriedades superficiais favoráveis à resposta biológica. O objetivo deste estudo foi analisar, por meio de uma revisão da literatura, a influência das superfícies hidrofílicas e do armazenamento em solução salina sobre os eventos iniciais da osseointegração, bem como suas possíveis implicações clínicas. Para isso, foram analisados estudos científicos relacionados à hidrofilicidade, molhabilidade, características superficiais dos implantes e condições de armazenamento. Os principais achados indicam que as superfícies hidrofílicas, por apresentarem maior afinidade com fluidos biológicos, podem favorecer a interação inicial com sangue, proteínas e células osteogênicas, contribuindo para uma resposta biológica mais favorável nas fases iniciais da osseointegração. O armazenamento em solução salina pode auxiliar na preservação das características superficiais do implante até o momento da instalação. Entretanto, as evidências disponíveis não demonstram de forma consistente que essas características resultem em superioridade clínica em longo prazo. Conclui-se que as superfícies hidrofílicas apresentam potencial para favorecer os eventos iniciais da osseointegração, enquanto o armazenamento em solução salina pode contribuir para a preservação de propriedades superficiais relevantes, devendo seus efeitos ser considerados em conjunto com fatores como estabilidade primária, qualidade óssea e condições clínicas do paciente.
