INTELIGÊNCIA ARTIFICIAL NA PREDIÇÃO DE COMPLICAÇÕES OBSTÉTRICAS GRAVES: REVISÃO SISTEMÁTICA E AVALIAÇÃO DA APLICABILIDADE CLÍNICA

A inteligência artificial (IA) tem apresentado crescente aplicação na área da saúde, especialmente na obstetrícia, como ferramenta de apoio à identificação precoce de complicações maternas e fetais. Este estudo teve como objetivo avaliar o uso da inteligência artificial na predição de complicações obstétricas graves e sua aplicabilidade clínica. Trata-se de uma revisão sistemática da literatura, realizada por meio de buscas em bases de dados científicas, considerando estudos relacionados à utilização de técnicas de aprendizado de máquina e aprendizado profundo na predição de desfechos obstétricos. Após o processo de identificação, triagem e avaliação de elegibilidade, foram selecionados 19 estudos para compor a revisão. Os resultados demonstraram aplicações da IA na predição de diferentes condições obstétricas, incluindo pré-eclâmpsia, parto prematuro, alterações do crescimento fetal, alterações placentárias, morbidade respiratória neonatal e cardiopatias congênitas. Observou-se que os modelos de aprendizado de máquina podem integrar dados clínicos, laboratoriais, ultrassonográficos e outros parâmetros para auxiliar na identificação de gestantes com maior risco de complicações. Entretanto, também foram identificadas limitações relacionadas à heterogeneidade dos dados, validação dos modelos, qualidade das informações utilizadas, interpretabilidade e implementação na prática clínica. Dessa forma, embora a IA apresente potencial para contribuir com a identificação precoce de riscos obstétricos e auxiliar a tomada de decisão dos profissionais de saúde, sua utilização deve ocorrer de forma complementar à avaliação clínica. Conclui-se que a incorporação dessas tecnologias à assistência obstétrica requer validação adequada e estudos que avaliem sua segurança, confiabilidade e aplicabilidade em diferentes contextos clínicos.
