Resumo

Este estudo é uma revisão sistemática da literatura que teve objetivo de analisar a relação entre filtros digitais, redes sociais e a cultura social digital reforçada por influenciadores no desenvolvimento ou agravamento dos transtornos dismórficos corporais (TDC). A expansão das tecnologias de modificação estética, amplamente utilizadas em plataformas visuais, tem intensificado a exposição a padrões corporais irreais e à idealização da autoimagem, fenômeno que pode influenciar negativamente a percepção corporal e a saúde mental. Assim, esta revisão integra evidências empíricas e teóricas que abordam os mecanismos neurobiológicos, cognitivo-comportamentais e psicossociais relacionados ao TDC, detalhando sua fisiopatologia e sociopatologia. Ao sintetizar dados de estudos recentes, o trabalho buscou  esclarecer como práticas aparentemente cotidianas — como o uso de filtros e o consumo de conteúdos que reforçam padrões estéticos padronizados — podem contribuir para a internalização de ideais corporais rígidos e para a intensificação do sofrimento psicológico. A revisão identificou, lacunas na literatura e assim apontou caminhos para estratégias preventivas e interventivas no âmbito clínico, educacional e sociocultural.
