Principais cuidados adotados na assistência à pessoa idosa com lesões por pressão: revisão integrativa da literatura

As lesões por pressão representam um agravo relevante na assistência à saúde da pessoa idosa, especialmente em contextos de institucionalização, hospitalização, mobilidade reduzida e maior dependência funcional. O presente estudo teve como objetivo analisar, por meio de uma revisão integrativa da literatura, os principais cuidados adotados na assistência ao idoso com lesão por pressão. A busca foi realizada nas bases MEDLINE, via PubMed, e SciELO, considerando publicações entre 2021 e 2025, em português ou inglês, com texto integral disponível e relação direta com prevenção, manejo, fatores de risco ou intervenções assistenciais. Após identificação inicial de 21.091 registros, aplicação de filtros, triagem por títulos e resumos, remoção de duplicados e leitura dos textos completos, foram incluídos 20 estudos. Os achados indicaram que o cuidado ao idoso com lesão por pressão deve ser multifatorial, envolvendo avaliação sistemática de risco, reposicionamento, superfícies de suporte, cuidado nutricional, manejo da pele, educação de cuidadores, qualificação da equipe e uso de recomendações baseadas em evidências. Conclui-se que a prevenção e o manejo das lesões por pressão exigem planejamento contínuo, individualizado e interdisciplinar, com foco na segurança do paciente e na redução de eventos evitáveis.
