INTERVENÇÕES FISIOTERAPÊUTICAS NO TRATAMENTO DO LINFEDEMA EM PACIENTES PÓS-MASTECTOMIA

Introdução: O câncer de mama é uma das neoplasias mais incidentes entre as mulheres, sendo a mastectomia uma das principais formas de tratamento. Entre as complicações pós-cirúrgicas destaca-se o linfedema, condição que pode causar dor, edema, limitação funcional e prejuízos na qualidade de vida. Nesse contexto, a fisioterapia desempenha papel importante na redução dos sintomas e na recuperação funcional das pacientes. Objetivo: Analisar os efeitos das intervenções fisioterapêuticas no tratamento do linfedema em pacientes pós-mastectomia. Materiais e Método: Trata-se de uma revisão integrativa da literatura realizada nas bases de dados Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde (BVS), Google Scholar, Periódicos CAPES, Physiotherapy Evidence Database (PEDro), PubMed e Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO), incluindo artigos publicados entre 2020 e 2026, nos idiomas português e inglês. Resultados: Os estudos analisados demonstraram efeitos positivos das intervenções fisioterapêuticas na redução do edema, melhora funcional, diminuição da dor e promoção da qualidade de vida das pacientes. Entre as principais abordagens utilizadas destacaram-se a Terapia Descongestiva Complexa, Drenagem Linfática Manual, terapia compressiva, cinesioterapia e fotobiomodulação. Contribuição Científica: O estudo reúne evidências sobre a eficácia das intervenções fisioterapêuticas no tratamento do linfedema pós-mastectomia. Conclusão: Conclui-se que a fisioterapia exerce papel essencial no tratamento do linfedema pós-mastectomia, contribuindo para recuperação funcional e melhora da qualidade de vida das pacientes.
