Associação entre autoanticorpos neuro específicos e sintomas depressivos em pacientes com lúpus eritematoso sistêmico: uma revisão sistemática

O lúpus eritematoso sistêmico (LES) é uma doença autoimune crônica e multissistêmica, marcada pela produção de autoanticorpos e formação de complexos imunes que podem comprometer diversos órgãos, incluindo o sistema nervoso central. Entre suas manifestações, o acometimento neuropsiquiátrico destaca-se pela frequência e gravidade, sendo a depressão um dos quadros mais prevalentes e com importante impacto na qualidade de vida, funcionalidade e prognóstico dos pacientes. Este estudo teve como objetivo analisar criticamente a relação entre autoanticorpos e depressão em indivíduos com LES, discutindo possíveis mecanismos imunológicos envolvidos e suas implicações clínicas. Para tanto, realizou-se uma revisão sistemática, integrando evidências de estudos clínicos, de neuroimagem e de imunologia translacional. Os resultados indicam que autoanticorpos cérebro-reativos, como anti-ribossomal P, anti-NR2 e anticorpos antifosfolípidos, apresentam plausibilidade biológica como mediadores de disfunção neural associada a sintomas depressivos. Conclui-se que a interação entre autoanticorpos e depressão no LES é complexa e multifatorial, exigindo pesquisas futuras mais robustas para esclarecer mecanismos causais, identificar biomarcadores e subsidiar estratégias terapêuticas mais direcionadas.
