Resumo
A linguagem humana evoluiu sob influência de fatores culturais e genéticos, modulada por memória e plasticidade neural. Com a globalização, expandiram-se abordagens de ensino de línguas baseadas na neuroplasticidade. Esta revisão integrativa, conduzida em seis etapas metodológicas, analisou 41 estudos selecionados entre 105 registros em bases internacionais. Verificou-se aumento nas publicações após 2012, com pico em 2019, sobretudo em periódicos de alto Qualis da Europa e dos Estados Unidos. As análises indicaram que a neuroplasticidade exerce papel central na aquisição de línguas adicionais, influenciada por idade, proficiência e exposição. Bilíngues precoces apresentam maior eficiência neural, enquanto a prática contínua mitiga limitações do aprendizado tardio. Alterações na conectividade funcional, plasticidade auditiva e controle executivo foram recorrentes. Os achados reforçam a relevância da neuroplasticidade e sugerem investigações futuras que aprofundem a diversidade linguística e desenvolvam intervenções pedagógicas inovadoras e potencialmente mais eficazes.
