Resumo
Este estudo tem como objetivo evidenciar os tratamentos usados na resolução da obesidade. Trata-se de uma revisão integrativa, que foi feita a partir da pesquisa dos seguintes Descritores em Ciências da Saúde (DeCS): obesity; treatment. Sendo selecionados os artigos publicados no ano de 2023 até o dia 31/05/2023, selecionando-se 70 artigos, dos quais 60 foram excluídos e apenas 10 foram revisados. Obesidade trata-se de uma doença crônica que sua etiologia pode depender de diversos fatores como hábitos de vida, fatores genéticos, doenças metabólicas. Além disso, esta doença possui também diversas complicações como afecções cardiovasculares, diabetes tipo 2 e demência. Tendo em vista essas complicações e as múltiplas causas para que se chegue ao quadro de obesidade, faz-se necessária uma maior especialização dos centros de saúde e de seus profissionais no tratamento da obesidade.
