Resumo
Este artigo revisa a literatura atual sobre a prevalência de osteopenia e osteoporose em jovens com doenças autoimunes sistêmicas. A seleção dos artigos foi realizada na base de dados PubMed, utilizando os termos “Autoimmune Diseases”, “Osteopenia”, “Osteoporosis” e “Young Adults”. A revisão abrange estudos recentes que investigam os fatores de risco, os avanços no diagnóstico por biomarcadores inflamatórios e ferramentas de imagem, além de estratégias terapêuticas, como suplementação de vitamina D e uso de agentes antirreabsortivos. A conclusão aponta que a integração dessas abordagens pode melhorar significativamente a prevenção, o diagnóstico precoce e o manejo clínico, contribuindo para a preservação da saúde óssea e a qualidade de vida desses pacientes.
