Resumo
O blastoma pleuropulmonar (BPP) é um tumor raro, agressivo e predominantemente diagnosticado em crianças. Descrever as alterações anatomopatológicas do BPP e suas implicações para o diagnóstico diferencial. Revisão de estudos publicados entre 2000 e 2024 nas bases PubMed, Scopus e Web of Science. O BPP possui três subtipos com diferentes graus de agressividade. A ressecção tumoral, combinada com quimioterapia e radioterapia, é essencial, apesar dos efeitos adversos em longo prazo. A compreensão das características histopatológicas é fundamental para o tratamento e prognóstico do BPP.
