Resumo

Há 50 anos o primeiro implante dentário foi instalado com o propósito de repor os elementos dentários ausentes, foi uma inovação para a época e revolucionou a forma de reabilitação bucal dos pacientes. Na Implantodontia contemporânea, a técnica de instalação imediata com procedimentos de preservação alveolar e extração minimamente traumática,  conservam estruturas fundamentais para a instalação do implante e para a reabilitação prótetica. A cirurgia guiada na técnica imediata através da tomografia cone beam, softwares e um guia cirúrgico, oferece benefícios para o profissional e para o paciente na avaliação pré-operatória e no procedimento cirúrgico. O objetivo do presente estudo é um relato de caso clínico onde será descrito um procedimento de exodontia de um elemento dentário associado a implantação imediata com cirurgia guiada. O voluntário inicialmente passou por anamnese, exame clínico e exames de imagens e após se procedeu ao procedimento cirúrgico de extração e implantação imediata associado a cirurgia guiada. Após foi instalado a prótese implanto-suportada e foi realizado uma tomografia final após 60 dias de acompanhamento. O presente trabalho demonstrará uma técnica já descrita na literatura, que poderá guiar os profissionais nos tratamentos reabilitadores futuros.
