SÍNDROME DA MORTE SÚBITA DO LACTENTE
FATORES DE RISCO E MEDIDAS PARA IMPLEMENTAÇÃO DO SONO SEGURO NA INFÂNCIA

O presente artigo tem por objetivo identificar os principais fatores de risco e as medidas para implementação do sono seguro infantil na síndrome da morte súbita do lactente. Trata-se de uma revisão integrativa da literatura realizada nos materiais indexados na Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde (BVS): MEDLINE, LILACS, BINACIS e IBECS, através dos Descritores em Ciências da Saúde (DeCS) em cruzamento com o operador booleano and, da seguinte forma: "Comportamento de Sucção" and ‘’Dor’’ and ‘’Lactente’’. Após a aplicação dos critérios de elegibilidade foram selecionados 10 estudos para compor essa revisão. Conclui-se que a conscientização sobre práticas de sono seguro, como evitar compartilhar a cama, posicionar o bebê de forma adequada e evitar exposição ao tabaco e substâncias, é crucial. Em resumo, a prevenção da síndrome da morte súbita do lactente exige esforços coordenados para proteger o sono seguro dos bebês e reduzir os riscos associados.
