Resumo

A dor é um fenômeno complexo que envolve não apenas aspectos biológicos, mas também influências psicológicas e sociais. Esta revisão narrativa tem como objetivo analisar criticamente os diversos fatores que influenciam a percepção da dor, adotando uma abordagem multidimensional. Aspectos biológicos, como idade, gênero, hormônios e predisposições genéticas, são fundamentais na modulação da dor. Fatores psicológicos, como emoções, cognições, e condições como ansiedade e depressão, podem amplificar ou atenuar a dor, enquanto o suporte social e normas culturais desempenham papéis cruciais. Os resultados mostram que a interação desses fatores biopsicossociais é dinâmica, moldando a percepção da dor de forma individualizada. Conclui-se que uma abordagem holística e personalizada é essencial para o manejo eficaz da dor, contribuindo para o bem-estar do paciente em diferentes contextos clínicos.
