Resumo
O atual trabalho objetiva analisar e expôr a utilização de exames de imagem na avaliação da esteatose hepática. Este estudo é uma revisão integrativa, que foi realizada a partir da pesquisa dos seguintes descritores em ciências da saúde (DeCS): hepatic; steatosis; diagnostic; image. Destes, foram selecionados apenas artigos publicados no ano de 2023, até a data de 05 de julho, selecionando-se 17 artigos, onde 7 foram excluídos e apenas 10 foram analisados para a confecção do trabalho. A avaliação por imagem da esteatose hepática possui grande relevância, tanto na confirmação diagnóstica quanto na mensuração da sua gravidade, no entanto cada método de exame possui as suas particulares limitações, como o alto custo da Ressonância Magnética e a ineficácia da Ultrassonografia na avaliação da esteatose leve. Tendo em vista estas informações, faz-se necessária uma reunião dos principais estudos acerca deste tema para auxiliar no plano terapêutico.
