Abstract

The evolution of digital technologies in implant dentistry has improved diagnostic accuracy, surgical planning and prosthetic rehabilitation. The association of these innovations with biomaterials, such as platelet-rich leukoplatelet fibrin (L-PRF), has demonstrated benefits in osteointegration and tissue regeneration.  Objective: This study aims to evaluate the impacts of the integration between digital technologies and L-PRF in implant dentistry. Methodology: A literature review was carried out in scientific databases, including clinical and experimental studies published in the last ten years. The inclusion criteria involved research that addresses the use of digital scanning, CAD/CAM, guided surgery and L-PRF in implant dentistry. Results: The literature suggests that the use of digital technologies improves the accuracy of implant installation and improves rehabilitation time. L-PRF, in turn, promotes acceleration of bone and gingival healing, favoring the stability of implants and the quality of peri-implant tissues. The synergy between these approaches provides more predictable and minimally invasive rehabilitation.  Conclusion: The combination of digital technologies with L-PRF in implant dentistry represents a significant advance, improving the efficiency of procedures and favoring tissue regeneration. Long-term clinical studies are still needed to consolidate the evidence and expand the clinical applicability of this approach.
